I guess Joon and I have been thinking about the same words lately ... in anti-defense of me, I initially misspelled the correct answer with an I.
Weird day: PHYLACTERY in 14; BICARBONATE in 19. Go figure. I must know more Jews than I have upset stomachs.
I gather not that many people know this word. I finally gave up on Mike's after 'bicameral' didn't fly. Once I hit 19, it's fairly hopeless.
I actually know the word "phylactery," it just didn't come into my brain yesterday morning when I played. Ah, well...
I'm surprised that only 5 of us guessed BICARB. Seems like more of the consumer product than a chemical.
