Old archives taken down

For various reasons, I've gone back and uncluttered the archive of GMW answers and gueses from 2010-11. (I still have them; they're just not online.) Unless you were diligently going back and playing through those archives, the only effect that this may have on you is that repeats of words that Mike or I used more than 16 months ago are now possible.

    Can I ask a question about mike's iPhone app Lexicographer? iTunes says it's not available to download from the U.S. store; is that something that's going to change soon, do you know?

      mike says he didn't renew his app developer subscription. so unfortunately it looks like lexicographer is no more. i'll remove the link.

    tidbit that may only interest a few, if anyone: the average length of my words from 2010-11 was 8.1 letters; mike's averaged 7.5.

      If my brain worked that way, it would indeed be useful information. I don't notice word length, nor do I anagram (it drives me nuts to use that as a verb) words. However, I have other talents. ha!
