Welcome to the Guess My Word blog. This is a place to discuss the words of the day chosen by Joon and Mike. This paragraph is here mostly as spoiler space. Here are today's words:
There is plenty of wind today, so it is a good day to shout into the wind:
(1) How can anyone know what time it is? My cell phone time disagrees with my landline time which disagrees with the time shown on my iMac which disagrees from the time in the TV scroll which disagrees with the time on the radio. And you can't just make a phone call and get the "exact" time anymore. When I was a kid, I set my watch by the time tone on the radio, and I was always exact to the second (as far as I knew.) I have found that if I wait to stat my Guess My Word play until my iMac shows 9:00:20, I avoid getting the previous day's word. I wish everyone would do that. After all, who wants their position on the leaderboard pushed down by someone playing yesterday's word?
(2) Does anyone read the comments? I faithfully go to the comments every day and click the "Notify me" box, but it would really be nice if there were some indication at the game itself that comments had been posted.
