  1. I wonder how I should feel about the fact that it took me 13 tries to guess my own last name (and no, my last name isn't "reestablish")?

  2. Love your comment! I only know that it makes me feel pretty good that I got it in 16 guesses, and it was a last-ditch guess, having run out of any other possibilities and having no idea that it's a common noun.

    1. it's a maker or builder of things. it's probably most familiar as a suffix (playwright, shipwright) but can also be used as a standalone noun.

actually, it looks like my dictionary labels it "archaic". hmm. i don't think of it that way, but that does kind of make it a poor choice for GMW. sorry about that.

  4. I think it makes a perfectly lovely choice...

    (Also 13 guesses!)

  5. I didn't get it, but I would never have used it as a stand-alone, given this day and age. There are tons of 'occupational' names, and not all of them are current words in use. 'Fuller' comes to mind...

I've been either striking out or giving up lately. Are the words getting tougher? Re-en... had about seven words and still could not narrow it down enough.
