Sometimes I get a strong hunch that the guess I'm making is the right word. In joon's game, I was between grandiose and grape, and was looking for something in the late "GRANs." When I thought if the actual answer I strongly expected it to be right. And yet in my final range there were something like 117 words. Related to granite, grand-relatives, grants... mostly south of the answer. To the north are 25+ words with a connection to the actual answer. I didn't have many of them in mind, but I did find (what turned out to be) the actual answer markedly compelling out of that large set.
