I looked it up, and I can attest that it is a word that has zero applications for my life. I could have typed guesses till the cows came home, and it would never have come up. I just plain have never heard or seen it. And, casting modesty aside, I'm a person with an extensive and varied vocabulary, a constant reader (mainly nonfiction), and I'm old--all things that ought to be advantages (and only sometimes are.)
