It amazes me how quickly people are able to complete this game. Every time I see someone make, for example, fifteen guesses in under two minutes, I am astounded. I'm not a stupid person by any means, but I simply can't come up with that many words in such a short period of time.
it's kind of an odd skill. i'm not as fast as some others, or even as fast as i could be (i try to optimize on interestingness of guesses rather than sheer speed, which maybe means i'm trying to maximize my chances of guessing it right very early).
after winning mike's word for two days in a row, which i don't think i've ever done, i crashed and burned today. dead last on the leaderboard, ouch.
For some reason, I found "apparition" to be far more difficult than "sanctimonious." This is strange to me, because it feels like the former is a more straightforward word - it just took me a lot longer to zoom in on it.
I've been doing these for a couple of weeks now. Keep up the great work guys, they are a lot of fun!
